I really like that I can search public folders and of course that I have two things in one, desktop and pst (outlook) search!Madoxnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-312551883381829534.post-76490420975472816292010-06-15T22:42:52.988+02:002010-06-15T22:42:52.988+02:00Hi Madox, Thanks for the pointer. I never tried taglocity, but a lot of other programs and decided for Lookeen. Also a search tool that is not soo popular as other ones, but really nice and especially reliable! Maybe I am going to use taglocity some day, but at the moment I am very satisfied with the search of Lookeen, because it is really fast in indexing and searching and also a desktop search! Here is the url, if you wanna check it out: http://www.lookeen.netMadoxnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-312551883381829534.post-63935447364462198392008-12-06T23:13:00.000+01:002008-12-06T23:13:00.000+01:00Thank you for the tip on Xobni - I had not come ac...Thank you for the tip on Xobni - I had not come across this addin before, but I will definitely give it a try next week.

As for the search in Taglocity, it is possible I haven't waited long enough for indexing to run. I've left it to run over the weekend, so hopefully by Monday I will see whether I get results. Definitely hoping it works out, since I do really like the Taglocity interface.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08634366943539821123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-312551883381829534.post-67168440554229077912008-12-06T20:22:00.000+01:002008-12-06T20:22:00.000+01:00Shannon, thanks for your comment.Xobni has a compa...Shannon, thanks for your comment.
Xobni has a comparable 'support request feature'. It is really nice!
Search is not working? For me it is. I did have problems with search in the beginning, but I think I wanted to search to quickly. After the indexer had time to do his work, all is fine. Maybe try to reinstall Taglocity...?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14145886833443377887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-312551883381829534.post-69772274997006934872008-12-05T22:13:00.000+01:002008-12-05T22:13:00.000+01:00I have been using Taglocity for a few weeks.I real...I have been using Taglocity for a few weeks.

I really like the interface for tagging items - it is very easy to use without constantly reaching for the mouse.

However, searching is not working at all for me. No results are ever returned. I just opened a support ticket with the company about it.

On a side note, I was very impressed with the nice support request feature in the software. It is very simple to turn on diagnostic logging, and then it is very easy to send a support request. I don't think I have ever seen another application handle support requests directly within the application as well as this one does.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08634366943539821123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-312551883381829534.post-38908344295504013192008-12-04T21:34:00.000+01:002008-12-04T21:34:00.000+01:00Thanks for the links.
